 The WeatherTRAK ET Pro is the newest HydroPoint solution built on the WeatherTRAK technology. Along with the WeatherTRAK scheduling engine and ET everywhere service, the WeatherTRAK ET Pro offers simple Internet-based irrigation management via WeatherTRAK Internet services, using built-in wireless communication technology.
WeatherTRAK’s irrigation scheduling engine and ET everywhere data service automatically calculate science-based schedules for every zone of your irrigation system. And the ET everywhere service automatically adjusts watering schedules according to plant-specific needs as the weather changes. If it ever becomes necessary make a change to the controller, view or manage controller activities, WeatherTRAK Internet service lets you do it all from the convenience of your home or office.
Motorola manufactures WeatherTRAK Pro controllers under the IRRIcom brand. HydroPoint partnered with Motorola to integrate the WeatherTRAK scheduling engine software and ET data service capability into the IRRIcom technology. WeatherTRAK ET Pro is manufactured in both 12 and 24 station configurations and is designed for applications where durability, automation and advanced control are a must.
WeatherTRAK Internet Services provide commercial customers with advanced wireless two-way communication — offering the convenience of remote control and daily ET everywhere data. In addition, WeatherTRAK Internet Services provide customers with valuable alert options via e-mail, pager, or an Internet-enabled cell phone or PDA. Customized by the user, you’ll receive alerts that notify you of excess flow, system failures and even program changes.
The ET everywhere data service is centrally managed at the HydroPoint data center. Each day HydroPoint collects, analyzes and validates weather data gathered from more than 12,000 weather stations throughout the United States. HydroPoint’s advanced data analysis process takes data from these weather stations and calculates local ET indexes.
Location-specific ET is then transmitted daily via a wireless network — directly to your WeatherTRAK ET Controller. Your WeatherTRAK ET Controller automatically adjusts its irrigation schedule according to the specific water requirements of each zone on the irrigation system. It may add a minute, drop a minute, or drop a day or more if necessary.
